| Whether these "indigenous" missionaries are reaching members of their own village or another people group within their country, several factors remain in their favor: 1. They are native citizens and their work can never be disrupted by the expiration or cancellation of visas. If wars or political instability develop, they stay. They generally avoid the stigma of "foreigner." 2. Many already know the language of the target people group. Others are able to learn a sister language. They already know the culture, having been brought up in it. The native missionary eats and drinks the local food, a practice that has routinely put the typical western missionary out of commission with illness. 3. The native missionary essentially lives at the same economic level as the people among whom he ministers. His/her cost of living is typically between $100 and $200 a month, though many don't get that much. He/she hardly ever takes a furlough, and doesn't have to buy airfare tickets to and from America. |

| Until All Have Heard(UAH2) is an incorporated non-profit organization established to assist native Christian workers in reaching the unreached in their own country. The goal of UAH2 is to supply needed resources to the indigenous missionary to enable and equip him/her to be effective and effecient in their work. This ministry has blossomed from the needs of native Christian workers in Oaxaca, Mexico where God has raised up these indigenous missionaries to reached the unreached in Oaxaca. Most have little or no income to support their families and no resources needed to go to other villages to take the gospel. UAH2 will supply fanancial help, training, Bibles, tracts, the gospel on cassette, and various types of transportation needed for these native workers to reach the unreached areas. We are branching out into other overlooked mission fields of the world. |
| Indigenous means "native to the land " Indigenous missionaries serve among people groups in their own countries. Indigenous missionaries can actually be cross-cultural missionaries within their own land, reaching another neighboring people group. |
| Rather than send missionaries in the traditional way, Until All Have Heard provides leadership training, resources and sends financial asistance to indigenous missionaries to accomplish the task of reaching the unreached. |
