What if you could train ordinary people to be leaders?

What if they in turn could disciple others and extend the gospel into new areas?

What if the fire of the Holy Spirit burned so strong in them, that they spread this annointing to others?
Those are the founding principles of a training center located high in mountains of one of the least reached areas in this hemisphere.

Classes are taught by missionaries and nationals

"Keep 'em Indians"

The vision of this school is brief, intense and practical training in their own backyard. Mixteco and Trique believers can be trained in their own environment without having to Americanize them.
Most other schools take the students to a large city, put a tie around their neck, and after two to three years, attempt to send out a student. The problem with this stategy is that after a short time in a city environment, the student no longer wants to return to the rural setting he came from. Vision can be lost in such long programs and they are ultimately cost prohibitive.

Emphasis is put on leader development

Our plan is to simply train Indian leaders to reach their own people. We hold classes
on church planting and the priciple of 12. Everything these believers need to know to be effective missionaries and pastors we give them in a cost effective and Indian friendly setting. This is hands on, in your face type teaching. They do not learn unproductive polish, but rather how to minister to the people (counsel the needy, pray for the sick, cast out demons and set people free). Classes are taught on how to develop and deliver a sermon. This is a fundemental issue missing in the Oaxaca mountains. Our goal is to help these potential leaders walk in their five fold calling. We want to be be able to "drop" them into any environment and see a new testament church planted as a result of their being there. Please pray for these students and the training school. Thanks.
